James Praise is the founder of Marketing In Action.
Hi, I’m James. I’m a Product and Growth Marketing consultant with over eight years of experience helping startups launch, scale, and grow with clarity and execution. I’ve worked with more than 20 companies across the US, Africa, and Europe, leading go to market strategy, customer acquisition, and demand generation for bootstrapped, seed, and Series A teams across B2B, SaaS, Fintech, EdTech, and Martech.
I’ve been a founding marketer multiple times, building marketing functions, teams and systems from the ground up at Reform, FunnelEnvy, Bujeti, Distrobird, and Cecure Intelligence, while also mentoring founders through programs such as SBC Afritech and PAADC.
I’ve published more than 50 playbooks, templates, and practical breakdowns across product marketing, growth marketing, GTM engineering, AI, strategy, content, lifecycle, demand generation, and product led growth. Everything I share is rooted in real execution, not theory.
